Jack (dog with black face) was found by a good Samaritan at a cemetery in Louisiana. He is pictured with his best friend Betsey. This particular cemetery appears to be a dumping ground for unwanted pets as Jack was just one of many found over the years. Jack is a sweetheart but was likely abused as evidenced by the way he cowers every time you pick him up. When he wants attention she crawls on his belly over to his foster mom hoping for some love and kindness (which she gladly give him). He is non-aggressive and loves all people and gets along well with the other foster dogs in the home. He was quite undernourished when found and for that reason he can be protective of his food with other dogs (not people though). His foster mom manages that quite easily by feeding him separately from the other dogs. He is under 2 years old, fully vaccinated and heartworm negative. He would make an excellent companion to a retired person or would be a great family pet.
